- Numbers are collected automatically from public APIs: Docker Hub, GitHub, npm, PyPI (via ClickPy), NuGet, RubyGems, Packagist, crates.io, Maven Central (via deps.dev), Stack Exchange, Wikimedia and endoflife.date. The date next to each number is when it was collected.
- Download counts include CI and mirror traffic and are not a count of users. They are best used to compare trends.
- Trends compare the current value with the value one week, one month (30 days) and one year earlier. For 30-day download and page view counts, the comparison is with the 30-day window ending at that earlier date.
- Past GitHub star counts are estimated from GH Archive star events. Docker Hub, NuGet, RubyGems, Packagist and crates.io only expose all-time totals, so their trends come from our own snapshots and appear once enough history is collected.
- Head-to-head totals skip packages that depend on another tracked package (such as
amqp-connection-manageroraiormq) so installs are not counted twice. Maven Central does not publish download counts. - Stack Overflow counts use the
rabbitmqandapache-kafkatags. GitHub repository counts use therabbitmqandkafkatopics.
